STRATEGIC PLANNING PROJECT ON EMPOWERMENT OF GRASSROOTS COMMUNITIES IN TANZANIA (SPPEGCoT)”
This project aims to empower smallholder tea farmers in Njombe District by establishing small-scale tea processing factories. By bringing processing capabilities closer to the farmers, the initiative seeks to improve productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, enhance product quality, and increase farmers' incomes. This pilot project will serve as a model for sustainable agricultural development and community-driven growth.
PREPARATION OF A SPECIAL PROGRAMME WITH RELATED PROJECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, REVIVAL AND ESTABLISHMENT OF VARIOUS SOCIOECONOMIC ACTIVITIES THROUGH EVANGELIZATION BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD IN TANZANIA.
This project idea is based on many and great thanks and appreciations from the Government and various Development Stakeholders to the Catholic Church, due to its great contribution on enhancing the welfare and development for People, Communities and the Nation as a whole, since the ages its advent until now. In addition as part of the Private Sector in the country, COSSEDe and the Church as stakeholders of this Idea; will direct themselves towards achieving the goals of implementing the Public - Private Partnership Policy; so as to bring productive successes for the prosperity and sustainable socio-economic development for the people, their communities and the nation as a whole.

REVAMPING BANANA FARMING IN KAGERA REGION THROUGH THE CROP INTEGRATIVE “KIBANJA” FARMING SYSTEM
This project focuses on revitalizing banana farming in the Kagera Region by adopting the innovative “Kibanja” Farming System, an integrative approach that combines traditional practices with modern techniques. The initiative aims to boost banana yields, enhance soil fertility, and promote sustainable farming methods. By empowering local farmers with knowledge and resources, this project seeks to transform banana farming into a more productive and profitable venture while preserving the region’s agricultural heritage.
FUNDING CONSIDERATION BY THE U.S. EMBASSY IN TANZANIA THROUGH THE AMBASSADOR’S FUND FOR CULTURAL PRESERVATION (AFCP)
This proposal seeks support from the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania under the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) to safeguard and promote Tanzania's rich cultural heritage. The project focuses on preserving historic sites, traditional practices, and cultural artifacts that reflect the nation’s identity and history.
